What's Your Intention?
I remember my mom telling me "the path to heaven is paved with good intentions". We all have good intentions...to clean out our house, to go to the gym, to meet friends for a drink. So, what happens? Is our life so hectic we don't take the time to do what is necessary for us? Are we really that busy? In most cases, yes. Now what? How do we fulfill our intentions? It depends on how important each one is. Is it a luxury or necessity? Is it a stress release? Or is the reason we don't do it just an excuse? I know for me, in the past it was an excuse ninety-nine percent of the time. I think I have paved the way to heaven multiple times! Nowadays, I put my intention out in the universe and work towards achieving it. I think the biggest change for me was my surgery. It really opened my eyes to the world around me because it had changed and I changed. The world changed because I was a different person living in it. I couldn't do the same things I did before...I had to change my way of eating, becoming more active, paying attention to what my body is telling me. It is an absolute lifestyle change.
I truly believe that what you put out in the universe comes back to you two-fold. So when I put my intention out there, I really need to believe it from my soul. I am specific...I don't say I want to lose weight. I say I want to lose "X" number of pounds so I feel better and healthier. It is important to be as clear as possible for what you want. Just like in life, when there is clarity...there is total understanding. If you are given vague instructions, you are going to interpret them how you see they are. Sometimes you are spot on. Other times, you are way off base. Same thing applies with the universe. If you aren't clear in your intention, the universe will interpret it how it sees it. So...be clear...be precise and you will see the benefits. As always, God Bless.
